I'm dumb and did the steps to reattach wrong. Metal bar should be taken out and connected to the key and then both to the board. I have a g510s and spilled stuff on it so I took the keys off to clean it, but now when I try to put the spacebar on it doesn't come back up after being pressed down.

But unfortunately those Surface Pro 5 keys aren't available in the same colour as my Surface Pro 7 type cover (charcoal) either!
