WebMyocarditis refers to the swelling of the heart muscle in response to several causes. Most commonly, this inflammation is the result of a viral infection, although bacterial infections and exposure to toxins, among other things, can also contribute. WebThis is asymptomatic and benign. ECG criteria for junctional rhythm Regular ventricular rhythm with rate 40–60 beats per minute. Retrograde P-wave before or after the QRS, or no visible P-wave. The QRS complex is generally normal, unless there is concomitant intraventricular conduction disturbance.
