WebEmbers Adrift's only boasted features boiled down to "Lack of basic QoL features", for the sake of "immersion", and then had a monthly subscription fee on top of a purchase price...so that one I skipped. From what I've read, the population has remained consistently very low since launch, which is unsurprising given their payment model. WebEmbers Adrift Launches October 15, 2024. This is what I thought, I bought into the beta when I didn't realize it was a rebrand of some game I can't remember that was flopping in development. I played the beta maybe a handful of months ago, the game is barebones and uninspired. Classes don't feel good or distinct.
