Whenever I tried to switch it to full screen it wouldn't work; the screen would just be blank & black, but I could still hear the menu sounds. I tried DSfix and still have the same problem. I've googled around and still haven't found a solution.

There was a quite long thread about this issue a while back, basically when gsync is on and vsync is off you will still get minor tearing usually at the bottom of the screen when the fps is a percentage below your screens hz due to the way gsync works.
