Cannot redeclare block-scoped variable isdone
WebJun 5, 2024 · It’s function-scoped, and the declaration (not the definition) gets hoisted to the top of the scope. This means you can refer to a variable before it has been lexically declared, and JavaScript won’t complain. It also means that you can redeclare (and redefine) such a variable without complaint as well.
